The device is the first of Genematrix's multi-diagnosis products in the field of digestive diseases. It can detect multiple viruses at the same time, significantly saving time and cost.

It can detect six types of viruses that cause acute enteritis and diarrhea, such as rotavirus, intestinal adenovirus, astrovirus, and norovirus

"Considering high demands in domestic and overseas markets, we have launched Neoflex GI-Virus6 in addition to our existing diagnostic kits for sexually transmitted and respiratory diseases," the company said in a press release. "The products, which use our C-Tag technology, are also receiving much attention in the Middle East and Asia."

The company is actively conducting negotiations to enter into such markets, it added.
