Nasaret International Hospital said it aims to become a hub hospital in Asia by strategically focusing on Russian, Central Asian, and Southeast Asian medical tourists.

To this end, the hospital recently invited officials from Japan, Uzbekistan, and Russia to tour its health checkup and rehabilitation center as well as its oriental medicine division.

The hospital has also been actively advertising its institution through Incheon’s medical tourism consultation center in Irkutsk, Russia, and Almaty, Kazakhstan, and by participating in medical tourism conferences in Russia and Vietnam.

Such efforts have helped the hospital show strong performance, marking an annual growth of 20 percent in foreign patient visits since 2015.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare has selected Nasaret International Hospital for its “regionally specialized medical technology and strengthening the basis for foreign patients attraction” project for the second consecutive year.

The hospital will continue to expand its presence in the global medical market by, for instance, establishing a rehabilitation checkup center at Fergana Province in Uzbekistan by 2021.
