Kolon Life Science said it has filed an administrative lawsuit against the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety’s nullification of the license of Invossa-K with Seoul Administrative Court and Daejeong District Court on Monday.

Kolon said in a public filing that the suit sought to invalidate the ministry’s decision on Wednesday to revoke the permit of Invossa, the gene therapy for osteoarthritis, and to cancel clinical trials on the drug.

Kolon also filed a lawsuit against Daejeon District Food and Drug Safety Administration to stop the order to recall and dispose of Invossa products.

Kolon submitted a request to the court to suspend the effectiveness of the government’s ruling on Invossa license nullification, recall and disposal of Invossa, and cancellation of clinical trials until 30 days after the verdict.
