Jeil Healthscience, a subsidiary of Jeil Pharmaceutical, said Monday that it plans to market Pharma Research Product’s Rean exclusively, a polydeoxyribonucleotide sodium-based eyed drop.

Polydeoxyribonucleotide sodium is a DNA fragment that originates from the testis of salmons. It is a typical component commonly used in regenerative treatment.

The ingredient alleviates eye discomfort and supplies nutrition to the cornea and conjunctiva infected with ulcerative diseases. It also has excellent therapeutic benefits in curing micro-corneal damage.

“People have started to feel discomfort due to eye dryness and fatigue as the use of contact lenses and smartphones increase,” a company official said. “To improve eye discomfort fundamentally, patients need to pay more attention to their eye health by using drops that are appropriate for their symptoms.”

The company plans to carry out various marketing activities to expand the lineup of eye health products with the contract.
