If you’re a hardcore technology-loving geek who adores seeing trendy new gadgets, the fundamental rule is to visit Las Vegas for the largest Consumer Electronics Show (International CES).

For 50 years, CES has been the founding platform for new technology that changed the world. The first CES started in New York in 1967 and it introduced the Videocassette Recorder (1970), Satellite Radio (2000), Blu-Ray DVD (2003) and more. And what’s even more exciting is that in recent years they announced Driverless Car technology (2013), 3D printers (2014) and even Virtual Reality (2015).

The International Consumer Electronics Show displays more than 3,800 exhibiting companies, including developers and suppliers of consumer technology hardware, technology delivery systems with more than 165K attendees from 150 countries.

LifeFuels Smart Nutrition Bottle is named one of the top Innovations for the 2016 CES show. This smart water bottle automatically dispenses vitamins and supplements into the water portion of the cup. Syncing with the individual’s smartphone, the bottles connects to an app and lets users track their water intake, suggesting a fuel boost or additional hydration.

“We developed the Smart Nutrition Bottle to make it easier for consumers to accomplish their nutrition goals by connecting what they’re already familiar with: a water bottle, a smartphone and nutritional products,” said Jonathon Perrelli, co-founder and CEO of LifeFuels.

Samsung has made a smart belt called WELT that uses sensors to monitor your waistline, activity and eating habits, while coordinating with your work outfit- a perfect gadget for office workers. WELT (short for ‘wellness belt’) is one of the many devices that came out of Samsung’s C-Lab and the belt made its debut at the CES in January this year.

“Waist size is a key starting point for gauging overall health,” shares WELT. “Its magnetic waist sensor is embedded in the buckle and tracks your waist size in real time.”

Using WELT, wearers can see just how much their stomach expands after eating in order to help improve their dieting habits. To make things more convenient, WELT charges just like a smartphone and have a battery life of more than 20 days.
