The Seoul National University College of Medicine and the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH) will jointly run the “2017 Healthcare Worker Education Professional Course” for eight weeks from Oct. 24 to Dec. 15, the college said Thursday.

The school, designated as a World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborative Center for Educational Development in Sep. 2015, conducted the same training program last year.

It will train four Myanmar trainees this year on various subjects such as healthcare personnel policy, education administration, development and evaluation of curriculum, theory, and practice of teaching and learning, student evaluation, and university certification evaluation.

“Myanmar's five national medical schools and nursing schools have been preparing for educational reform since last year and will begin training at the end of next year2,” said Professor Shin Jwa-seop_신좌섭, director of WHO Collaborative Center. "I hope this training will help nursing education reform in Myanmar.”
