Its goal is to help patients recover their psychological stability by forget their hard life and gain vitality through VR.

SMC plans to offer a variety of medical content for the patient’s convenience in conjunction with virtual reality, providing a hospital VR experience zone, and extending the VR services to cancer patients at outpatient treatment centers.

"Healing VR will be particularly useful for patients who are socially and psychologically distressed during cancer diagnosis and treatment,” said Nam Suk-jin남석진, director of the cancer ward. "We will continue to develop various VR contents to reach more patients.”
